Genoa earned a prestigious 4-0 friendly victory over Dutch side Heerenveen this evening with Miguel Veloso enjoying a brace.
Ivan Juric’s side dominated from start to finish, although it took until the 36th minute to break through with Veloso’s free kick.
Veloso completed his brace straight after the restart, making the most of a Giovanni Simeone assist to sweep in his second.
Simeone and Raffaele Palladino both converted penalties to round out the scoreline, as Diego Laxalt and Palladino were brought down.
