Despite denials from Roma yesterday, it’s claimed Juventus are still pushing to sign Kevin Strootman.

It was reported that the Bianconeri were interested in signing the Dutchman, but sporting director Monchi insisted there had been “no contact of any kind”.

Despite that, Premium Sport is reporting that the Turin club are still very much interested in the midfielder, and are offering €30m.

However, the Lupi wouldn’t accept any less than value of Strootman’s release clause, set at €45m, though that can’t be activated after August 1.

For his part, Strootman is thought to be unsure and prefers to leave the negotiations down to Roma.
