Alessandro Matri denies reports he could leave Sassuolo to join Serie A new boys Benevento.
Sky Sport Italia had suggested last week that Benevento made an approach for the veteran striker, who turns 33 next month.
“I know nothing about that, there are others who deal with these things,” Matri told reporters.
“I am accustomed to transfer rumours and let them circulate. I don’t think I will be leaving Sassuolo.”
