Borussia Dortmund warned Milan target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is no longer on the market. “He missed his window.”
The Gabon international publicly urged Milan to make a bid for him as recently as last week with a video on social media.
Now it would appear to be too late for the Rossoneri to do anything about it.
“The issue is closed,” Borussia Dortmund director Michael Zorc told Sky Sport Deutschland.
“We spoke very openly with Pierre-Emerick over the last few months. The window for a transfer was left open for a long time, we were unable to reach an agreement for his sale, so he missed his window.
“We can’t wait to achieve our targets with him this season.”
Milan have already agreed terms with Fiorentina for Nikola Kalinic, on a €5m loan with obligation to buy for another €20m, and he’s due to for a medical on Monday.
