Sassuolo have announced that striker Diego Falcinelli has extended his contract with the club until 2022.
Falcinelli scored 13 goals to help Crotone avoid relegation last season, and the 25-year-old has started both of Sassuolo’s games this term.
His performances also reportedly attracted interest from Premier League clubs West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace.
It comes only a day after winger Domenico Berardi signed a similar renewal, despite speculation that he would leave.
