West Ham still want Sarri

West Ham United continue to be linked with a bid for Napoli Coach Maurizio Sarri as a future replacement for Slaven Bilic.

The Mirror had already suggested Sarri as a target for the Premier League side several weeks ago and this story is not going away.

A far more likely option would be former Borussia Dortmund tactician Thomas Tuchel, who is currently a free agent.

Sarri’s style of football, nicknamed Sarrismo, has impressed clubs all over Europe.

Napoli are joint top of the Serie A table with Juventus, enjoying a 100 per cent record after six rounds.

They scored 22 goals and conceded five, including last night’s 3-2 victory over SPAL.

Sarri has always said he’d love a Premier League experience, but this season is targeting Scudetto success.

Napoli are also in the Champions League, where they face Feyenoord on Tuesday night.
