“We’ve already forgotten Torino, as we must look forward and focus on the future,” the defender told Mediaset Premium.

Monday’s 3-1 home defeat proved extremely tense, as VAR was used to send Ciro Immobile off – and he is therefore suspended this evening – while there were penalty incidents.

“We worked well, because we know this is a difficult match and we want to win it. I’m happy to be back so I can help the team, but obviously I’m still working to find my match fitness.

“Immobile is out, but Felipe Caicedo is doing very well, he helps the team and will no doubt do his best this evening. We’ll have to adjust our build-up play a little bit to suit his characteristics.

“If we do things right, we’ll bring home three crucial points.”
