Brescia youngster Sandro Tonali could be given his first Italy call-up for the upcoming international break, according to reports.

The midfielder has been described as the new Andrea Pirlo, and is attracting interest from the likes of Inter, Milan, Juventus and Napoli.

The 18-year-old was part of the Under-19 squad which reached the final of the European Championships in the summer, but he’s never been involved with the senior squad.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport though, CT Roberto Mancini is considering calling him for the Portugal and U.S.A matches.

If Tonali were to be called up, it’s unlikely he’d play the Nations League match against Portugal, but he could be given a run out against the Americans in the friendly in Genk.
