Radja Nainggolan takes “positives” from the first half against Juventus, but admitted Cagliari have “regrets about the final score” ending in a 4-0 defeat.

After a goalless first half, where Nainggolan wasted his only opportunity to get a shot on target, the Rossoblu were punished by their first mistake in the second half.

“There’s regret about the final score,” Nainggolan said in the mixed zone after the match. “In the first half, we played as an organised team.”

Cristiano Ronaldo scored in his sixth league game in a row and Juventus didn’t stop until the Portuguese had secured his first hat-trick of the season on either side of a Gonzalo Higuain goal.

After the match, the Cagliari captain claimed his team will take what’s “positive” from the game and make sure they “regroup and go again”.

“We made some small errors and we were punished. Against certain teams, you can’t make mistakes,” he added. “We have to take with us all the positive things we did, regroup and go again.

“We take one game at a time, today we missed a few players, and against teams like Juve…”
