There are just three Serie A players named in the Italian Under-21 squad for Wednesday’s friendly in Scotland.
Boss Ciro Ferrara’s choices have been limited given that the postponed Week 33 Serie A ties will be played in midweek following the death of Piermario Morosini.
Just 19 players have been selected, with only three – Mattia De Sciglio, Luca Marrone and Samuele Longo – coming from the Italian top flight. The first has replaced Inter's Davide Faraoni in the party.
Zdenek Zeman’s Pescara side, currently third in Serie B, are heavily represented with four inclusions in the party.
Goalkeepers: Colombi (Juve Stabia), Pinsoglio (Vicenza);
Defenders: Antei (Grosseto), Caldirola (Brescia), Capuano (Pescara), Crescenzi (Bari), Donati (Padova), De Sciglio (Milan);
Midfielders: Crimi (Grosseto), Florenzi (Crotone), Insigne (Pescara), Marrone (Juventus), Rossi (Brescia), Sansone (Crotone), Verratti (Pescara);
