The FIGC has referred 22 clubs and 54 players to the Disciplinary Commission over a betting scandal in Serie B, Lega Pro and the Coppa Italia.

The Federation’s chief prosecutor Stefano Palazzi released the statement this evening, although the names will only be confirmed tomorrow.

It is known this includes 22 different clubs and 61 individual people, among them 52 players still in activity and two who had already retired at the time of the incidents.

There are also four directors and three figures signed up to the association of Coaches.

The inquest revolves around 29 Serie B games in various seasons, two in two different editions of the Coppa Italia and two in the 2010-11 edition of the Coppa Italia Lega Pro.
