President Maurizio Zamparini is taking the next logical step in his Palermo career. “I’ve got a scoop for you – I’ll be the Coach next season!”
The patron is famous for chopping and changing tacticians and went through three this term alone, sacking Stefano Pioli before the Serie A games even started, then Devis Mangia and finally Bortolo Mutti.
Vincenzo Montella and Giuseppe Sannino have been linked with the job and Zamparini spoke to Italian radio.
“The Coach of Palermo will not be Montella, as he’s going to Roma. Sannino is the boss of Siena. I’ve got a scoop for you – I’ll be the Coach next season! It’ll be the big novelty of 2012-13,” he joked.
