Torino insist they are keeping hold of Italian international Angelo Ogbonna. “We already turned down a €9m offer from Napoli last year.”
The defender is part of the Azzurri long-list for Euro 2012 and is widely expected to take part in the tournament this summer.
He has been linked with Italy’s top clubs, including Juventus, Napoli, Milan and Roma.
“We already turned down a €9m offer from Napoli last year,” director of sport Gianluca Petrachi told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“He is a great player and deserves to be on the European stage. I’m sure Ogbonna will be a key figure for the Azzurri at Euro 2012.
“I can officially announce we have not received any proposals for him from Napoli this summer.
“Torino will not be dismantled and there will be no drastic changes, but if anything opportune adjustments to a side that earned promotion this season.”
The Granata have been mathematically promoted back into Serie A along with Pescara.
