Alexandre Pato insists he has “re-balanced” his muscles to prevent further injuries thanks to the Brazil staff.
The striker suffered a series of thigh strains while at Milan this season, but has recovered and even scored in the most recent Seleçao match against the USA.
“I had an imbalance of the posterior muscles and that caused problems for me,” he told Globoesporte.
“In the space of a month we re-balanced the muscles and I was able to get back on to the pitch.
“All those injuries were dramatic for me. I would recover, then two games later felt pain again. I am aware of my potential and will do everything I can to take part in the Olympics.”
