Lazio have appointed Coach Vladimir Petkovic, but assistant Arno Rossini has confirmed he won’t be part of his staff.
“I cannot say much, but for various reasons we were unable to agree a deal,” he told the Corriere dello Sport.
“I’m disappointed, as it would’ve been an exceptional experience.”
Rossini is a former Bellinzona player, Lucerne manager and Petkovic’s right hand man, who worked as his talent scout at club Young Boys.
Strangely, Rossini has also worked at a local Bellinzona school for the past 30 years and was expected to make the leap to Lazio as assistant manager.
