Palermo have admitted that Emiliano Viviano and Matias Silvestre could both still be in their squad for the 2012-13 campaign.
Viviano’s future will have to be discussed with Inter given that their option to recall him expired in May, while Silvestre is available for transfer at the right price.
“We’ll now have to speak with Inter about Viviano,” President Maurizio Zamparini said of the goalkeeper who is co-owned between the two clubs.
“Let us wait and see what happens, but I do think that Viviano will be able to remain with us for next season.
“As for Silvestre, we have received no offer for him. If nobody steps forward then he will stay at Palermo too.”
Fiorentina and Torino have been paired with the Italian goalkeeper, while the defender is of interest to Roma and Tottenham.
