Parma have played down reports that they are in pole position to sign Omar El Kaddouri from Brescia.
“He’s a wanted player,” Parma director general Pietro Leonardi told Sport Italia. “There is an interest in him from us.
“Saying that, there is still nothing concrete with Brescia and it will be hard for him to arrive because there are so many clubs interested in him.”
The attacking midfielder grew up in the Anderlecht youth ranks before a switch to Brescia in 2008. He spent the 2010-11 season on loan at Sudtirol-Alto Adige.
Juventus are also known to be keen on the 21-year-old, although he is presently not a top priority for the Italian champions. Lazio and Fiorentina have also been paired.
