Stephan El Shaarawy won’t be content with a bench role at Milan during the 2012-13 campaign.
The 19-year-old moved to the Diavolo last summer, scoring four goals in 28 games across all competitions for the Diavolo.
“I expect to play in more games next season,” the teenager told Sky Sport Italia. “And I hope that we can battle for the Scudetto and the Champions League.
“Juventus had a great season and they intend to mirror what they achieved by strengthening the squad this summer.
“It will be hard to overtake them next term, but we have an excellent squad and we’ll do all that is possible to come out on top.”
El Shaarawy is now 100 per cent a Milan player after the Rossoneri signed Genoa’s half share in him earlier this month.
The forward, born to an Italian mother and an Egyptian father, is an Italian Under-21 international.
