Rumours of Juventus interest in Mats Hummels look to have ended once and for all with the player’s denial of any possible deal.
Earlier this week, reports paired the 23-year-old Borussia Dortmund centre-back with a move to the Bianconeri, on the understanding that Coach Antonio Conte had specifically requested him.
However, along with the reported valuation of the Bayern Munich target at €18m, the defender himself has suggested a move is looking unlikely.
“Was I approached by Juventus? I have just renewed by contract with Borussia Dortmund,” he told reporters on Friday.
“I have a long agreement with them in place, up to 2017, so I’m totally uninterested in the rumours circulating around my name.”
Hummels played in Germany’s Euro 2012 semi-final elimination to Italy last night.
