Serie A minnows Chievo Verona have announced the capture of 36-year-old forward David Di Michele.
“Chievo were following me for some time and they were the club who were the most interested in me,” he told the outfit’s website.
“I thank the club, the sporting director and the Coach for this great opportunity. I’ll look to pay back this faith in me.”
Di Michele has joined the Verona side on a free transfer after his contract at Lecce, whom he joined in 2010, expired.
The forward has also played for the likes of Udinese, Palermo, West Ham and Torino.
