Fabio Capello landed in Russia today to sign with the Federation and is bringing director Oreste Cinquini with him.
The former England manager has agreed to take over as the new Coach of the Russian national side and reportedly flew in this evening to put pen to paper.
His collaborator in the England camp was Franco Baldini, but that rapport has been broken up by a job at Roma.
Instead, Cinquini will follow Capello to Russia in order to become part of his staff as general manager.
The news was confirmed by Venezia, who announced Cinquini has left the post of director general in order to join Capello.
Cinquini had only been at Venezia for a year, but has previous experience at Fiorentina, Bologna, Lazio, Udinese, Parma, Cagliari and Pisa.
