It’s reported Federico Balzaretti is already undergoing his medical to complete the transfer from Palermo to Roma.

The left-back agreed a move after turning down a contract renewal in Sicily and an offer from Napoli.

Balzaretti was spotted in Rome this morning to undergo a medical at the Campus Biomedico.

He is expected to sign the contract and then travel to the Trigoria training camp this afternoon.

Palermo agreed the sale for around €4.5m.
