Chievo director of sport Giovanni Sartori has confirmed “we talked to Lazio” about Emiliano Alfaro and Libor Kozak.
The two forwards are low down the pecking order at the Stadio Olimpico, but could get more playing time at the Bentegodi this season.
“The team is almost complete and there is a good chance we could end the transfer session like this, but you never can tell,” Sartori told RadioSei.
“We talked to Lazio about Alfaro and have been trying to sign Kozak for the past two years.
“The Argentine is similar in terms of characteristics to the forwards we have, while at this moment we are thinking more about a centre-forward.
“We like Kozak, but I think it’s almost impossible for us to get him.”
