Palermo sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco has quashed rumours that David Trezeguet could join the club in January.
The French striker had been linked with a move to the Sicilian club, but the 58-year-old administrator has today denied those reports, questioning their validity.
“I do not know where this has come from,” he told sportal.it. “Trezeguet will not join Palermo. I'm not sure what the source of this rumour is, but there is certainly no interest in the player.”
The 35-year-old goalscorer spent 11 years in Italy with Juventus, scoring 109 Serie A goals in 190 appearances.
