Today is Stephan El Shaarawy’s birthday and Massimo Ambrosini reveals why he might have to pay for the Milan youngster’s vacation.
El Shaarawy turns 20 today and will take to the field this evening against his former club Genoa. Click here for a match preview.
“This summer in order to motivate him I promised Stephan I’d pay for him to go on vacation if he reached seven goals before December,” Ambrosini told Sky Sport Italia.
“I get the feeling I’m going to have to pay up on that bet. To be honest, I didn’t have much belief he’d get there!”
El Shaarawy is Milan’s top scorer this season with six goals in all competition, so if he finds the net tonight against Genoa then he’ll have an extra reason to celebrate his 20th birthday.
