Bergodi: 'Pescara will attack Napoli'

Pescara are struggling badly, but Coach Cristiano Bergodi is adamant they “must not think of only defending ourselves” at Napoli today.

The Delfini are the underdogs at the Stadio San Paolo in a tie that kicks off at 11.30am GMT. Click here for a match preview.

“Napoli will take the initiative, but we must have courage and balance, so we must not think of only defending ourselves,” said the former Cluj boss.

“The solidity of the team will be fundamental. It’s certainly not an easy game against Napoli, but we have to see some improvements.

“Vladimir Weiss is fit, but at the moment we cannot get away with fielding three strikers. I don’t think my lads will allow themselves to be overcome by the passion of the San Paolo atmosphere.”
