Palermo have officially signed Napoli defender Salvatore Aronica on a permanent transfer until June 2015.

The deal had been in the works for some time, but was finalised this afternoon with a statement on the Sicilian club website.

The deal had been in the works for some time, but was finalised this afternoon with a statement on the Sicilian club website.

Palermo have bought Aronica on a permanent basis from Napoli and he signed a contract holding him to the Rosanero until June 30, 2015.

Aronica will already begin training with his new teammates tomorrow and hold his presentation Press conference on January 2.

The veteran will turn 35 next month and has been at Napoli since 2008. His other clubs include Juventus” data-scaytid=”9″>Juventus, Reggina, Crotone, Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”12″>Fiorentina, Ascoli and Messina.
