The agent of Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti has dismissed speculation that he could join Roma in a swap deal involving Daniele De Rossi.
The Corriere dello Sport today suggested that the two clubs could agree a loan exchange until the end of the season.
“There is no truth in it,” Donato Di Campli told TMW. “Marco will remain in Paris, he’s untouchable, I’ve said that before and I say it again.
“A sheep is difficult to recall once it leaves the flock.
“Marco is at the centre of a project at PSG and he’s playing regularly. I honestly don’t think that he could leave.”
The Italian international playmaker, wanted by Juventus and Napoli in the summer, left Pescara for PSG after a €12m fee was agreed.
