Udinese have shot down reports suggesting that Napoli have asked them for Moroccan international Mehdi Benatia.
The 25-year-old has been linked with the Azzurri, but Bianconero chief Franco Soldati has cooled the rumours.
“We can’t sell all of our players to Napoli,” Soldati joked to Radio CRC on Wednesday.
“For now there have been no discussions at all and the player could remain with us for another season.”
Benatia, 25, is contracted at the Stadio Friuli until the summer of 2017. He has only played in 13 League games this term.
Napoli have signed numerous players from the Udine outfit in the past, including Gokhan Inler and Pablo Armero.
