Goran Pandev confirmed Walter Mazzarri “is never happy” after Napoli’s 1-1 draw away to Milan.
The Partenopei maintained their four-point lead above the Rossoneri in second place, as Pandev cancelled out Mathieu Flamini’s opener.
“The Coach is never happy, as we can still improve a great deal. We are missing the final step to become a great team,” said the Macedonian.
“We play wonderful football and deserve to be in second place behind Juventus. We changed our style of play slightly and I am now closer to Edinson Cavani. I am also in better shape physically and put the difficult time behind me.
“We must defend second place until the end of the season. It was important not to lose tonight, but I wouldn’t say we have it under lock and key.”
