Pioli: 'Lazio respect, but...'

Stefano Pioli points out he has “a lot of respect for Lazio, but I also have faith in my Bologna.”

The Rossoblu are coming off five consecutive draws and visit the Stadio Olimpico this afternoon. Click here for a match preview.

“We got very close to mathematical safety with our draw against Atalanta and it’s possible these points will be enough, but that doesn’t change our desire to end the campaign with as many points as possible,” said the Coach.

“We have a lot of respect for Lazio, as they are truly an excellent side with great individual players. However, I also have faith in my Bologna.

“We’ve had to run hard this season and not just metaphorically. I see the five draws as a positive and satisfying run in such a difficult League. We always show the utmost determination to get the best result and that is something to be proud of.”

Archimede Morleo sits out a ban, while Gianluca Curci and Niccolò Cherubin are injured.

Bologna squad for Lazio: Agliardi, Sojanovic; Abero, Antonsson, De Carvalho, Garics, Motta, Natali, Naldo, Sorensen; Pazienza, Guarente, Kone, Krhin, Perez, Riverola, Taider; Christodoulopoulos, Diamanti, Gilardino, Gabbiadini, Moscardelli, Pasquato
