Davide Ballardini told Genoa they need “one last push” to secure their Serie A status against Inter in a game moved to an earlier kick-off.
The match was set to start at 14.00 UK time (13.00 GMT) on Sunday, but has been brought forward along with Chievo-Torino so that it is played simultaneously with the other decisive relegation result between Palermo and Fiorentina at 11.30am (10.30 GMT).
“We must be wary and remain concentrated at all times,” said the Coach.
“There is a very difficult game awaiting us on Sunday and we are not safe yet. We need one last push.”
Emiliano Moretti did not take part in training today due to a calf problem, while Marco Rossi, Ruben Olivera and Damiano Ferronetti are still sidelined.
