Palermo may have been relegated but the agent of Josip Ilicic insists it is still too early to know where he will be playing next season.
The midfielder has been linked with the likes of Roma and Sampdoria in Serie A, but Zenit St Petersburg have now joined the chase.
“I know that the Russians are interested, but we haven’t received a formal offer,” agent Amir Ruznic commented.
“The decision on the player’s future, whether he will stay in Italy or leave, will be made at the end of the season along with the Palermo officials.
“Right now it is premature to talk about these things.”
The Rosanero were relegated at the weekend.
The Slovenian international, 25, has scored 10 goals in 31 League games this term.
