Massimo Ambrosini’s representative has met with Fiorentina officials today after he was released by Milan.
The midfielder is available on a free transfer after the Diavolo opted against offering him a new 12-month deal at San Siro.
Although agent Moreno Roggi has admitted that West Ham are keen on his available client, he left the door open for a Serie A move.
“If an offer came in from an Italian side then we would not ignore it completely,” he stated.
Roggi has subsequently met with Viola sporting director Daniele Prade about a possible future at the Stadio Franchi.
The 36-year-old joined Milan in 1995 from Cesena. He spent the 1997-98 campaign on loan at Vicenza.
