Fiorentina have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Gustavo Munua from Levante on a free transfer.
The Uruguay international was ever-present in the Granotes starting XI last term, conceding 47 goals in 29 games.
But with his contract set to expire on June 30 at the Ciutat de Valencia, the Viola have decided to act quickly and snap him up on a deal until 2015.
A statement on their official website read: “Fiorentina can announce that we have signed the player Gustavo Adolfo Munua Vera, who last season played for Levante UD.
“He has signed a contract that binds him to the Viola until June 30, 2015.”
