Sebastien Frey is heading for Turkish club Bursaspor, but Udinese are also an option for the Genoa goalkeeper.
The veteran shot-stopper is reportedly clashing with the hierarchy at Genoa and ready to leave, handing the gloves to Under-21 international Mattia Perin.
The Grifone can count on Perin, as he returned from a loan spell at Pescara and is eager for first team football.
Frey has been heavily linked with Turkish side Bursaspor and a move could well be only days away.
However, the Corriere dello Sport suggests that Udinese have emerged as late contenders for the Frenchman.
Frey could be seen as a safe pair of hands for their Europa League preliminary round and early stages of the season.
The 33-year-old shot-stopper has been in Italy since 1998 at Inter, Hellas Verona, Parma, Fiorentina and Genoa.
