The in-demand Marco Verratti says current club Paris Saint-Germain are in charge of his destiny.
The Italian international has been strongly paired with Real Madrid and Fiorentina in recent times after a stellar first season in France.
“A few clubs want me, but it isn’t just down to myself,” he told Il Centro. “It also depends on the club too.
“I firmly believe in the project at Paris SG and I’m a regular here which is ideal for me.
“However, I can say with certainty that I will play in the Italian championship in the future – I just don’t know whether that will be in a few weeks or a few years.”
Juventus and Napoli have also shown interest in the 22-year-old in the past.
The former Pescara player’s agent is currently in talks with the Ligue 1 outfit in an effort to get his client a new improved contract.
