Newly promoted Verona don’t think they’ll be able to do a deal with Inter for young striker Samuele Longo.
The Stadio Bentegodi outfit are keen on the Under-21 international and they have discussed a possible move with the Milan giants.
However, Verona director general Giovanni Gardini has told Sky Sport Italia that he expects his club to miss out on the player.
“It seems that Longo is destined to join Livorno rather than us,” the official noted on Tuesday morning.
The forward has been made available for transfer after returning to Inter in the summer following a loan spell at Espanyol.
