Genoa have set their sights on Malmo’s Iraqi-Swedish trequartista Jiloan Hamad.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, talks are already at an advanced stage for the 22-year-old who can play behind the strikers or as a wide forward.
He is out of contract on December 31 and Malmo have set a price-tag on him of approximately €1m.
He scored six goals in 17 games in the Swedish Allsvenskan, plus two in five Europa League matches.
Hamad is of Iraqi origin, but plays his international football for Sweden.
