Inter stopper Juan Jesus expects the club to stick around the top end of the table following the arrival of new boss Walter Mazzarri.
After finishing ninth last term under previous Coach Andrea Stramaccioni, the Nerazzurri have won both of their League games so far in 2013-14.
“It's quite normal for us to be in this League position because Inter deserve to be up there challenging for the big prizes,” the Brazilian told RAI Sport.
“Mazzarri is doing a brilliant job with us all and we want to keep going the way we are.”
Inter’s new-found competitiveness will be tested on Saturday when they entertain champions Juventus – who also have a 100 per cent record.
“They've been playing together for three years and they have plenty of belief in themselves,” Juan added when asked about the Old Lady.
“They're rightfully down as favourites because they've won back-to-back titles.”
