Former Milan stopper Alessandro Nesta thinks it’s too soon to write off the Diavolo despite their problematic start to the season.

The San Siro giants have collected just five points from their opening five games this term following the 3-3 draw at Bologna.

“Milan haven’t started well for the last three seasons, but they have always had their say at the end,” Nesta wrote on Twitter.

“It is too soon to be arranging funerals.”

The San Siro giants had to score two very late goals to rescue a point at the Stadio Dall’Ara on Wednesday evening.

The 37-year-old Nesta, currently playing for Montreal Impact, spent a decade with the Rossoneri before his 2012 exit.
