Torino Coach Giampiero Ventura admits they “could’ve done more” in the 1-0 defeat to Juventus.

The Granata are without a Derby della Mole victory since 1995 and haven’t scored in any of the last 15 editions.

“There were teams on the field with different qualities,” Ventura told Sky Sport Italia.

“We were able to be aggressive against Juve last season, but this time round we have a different structure. We limited Juventus and they had very few opportunities, though we should’ve done better in possession.

“Juventus are the best side we’ve faced so far. It’s difficult to be aggressive against their defence.”

There was controversy on both sides, as Ciro Immobile and Claudio Marchisio risked red cards, while Paul Pogba’s winning goal was offside.

“I couldn’t see the offside from my bench and I had hoped it was not a mistake. I am satisfied with the way we defended, though we could’ve done more in attack.

“Aside from this performance, we cannot cancel out the fact we could’ve easily won against Milan and Hellas Verona. We deserve more points than we have.”
