Nicola: 'Livorno can trouble Juve'

Juventus visit Livorno today and Coach Davide Nicola points out “we know we can do well against stronger teams.”

“We are playing against a side that has the most quality in Serie A, so it will be an opportunity for us to test our progress,” said the tactician in his Press conference.

“We know that we can do well against teams that are stronger than us on paper, even though we still have to find our balance.

“Juve have a precise identity and an excellent Coach, but we will try to limit them by playing as a team unit.”

Livorno were shaken this week when captain Andrea Luci announced his six-year-old son is suffering from a rare genetic disease.

“Andrea revealed this situation with a noble gesture aimed at raising funds and awareness for research into the disease. He is a public figure and made the first step, now it is up to the media to treat the news in the right way.

“We stand by Andrea. His problems are our problems.”

The Livorno fans will hold a fund-raising drive during today’s game.
