Gianluigi Buffon has admitted that he didn’t know what Manchester United were thinking letting Paul Pogba go.
The French youngster joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer from the Old Trafford outfit, and has since gone on to become one of the Old Lady’s most integral parts.
And the shot-stopper has conceded that it was obvious straight away what a talent Pogba was.
“He's one of those players who leaves you with your mouth wide open,” Buffon told Italia Uno.
“We all asked ourselves, after seeing him train with us for the third or the fourth time, when he was still unknown, whether the people in Manchester couldn't see very well.”
