Ruben Botta’s agent has reflected that whilst the future remains on the player’s side and that he has support from Walter Mazzarri, Torino remain an option.

The 23-year-old initially joined the Nerazzurri in the summer, but only officially did so this month, after an initial loan spell with Livorno.

Working his way back to full fitness through the season after a cruciate ligament injury, despite debuting for Inter in the Coppa Italia against Udinese this week, the Argentine is continually being linked with being a makeweight in the club’s discussions with Torino for Danilo D’Ambrosio.

For Botta’s agent, the possibility of a move to Turin is there not to be ruled out.

“Ruben needs to play to find his best form after the injury he suffered and I see that he increasingly in shape,” Sergio Levinton has told Tuttosport today.

“Up to now he has found little space, whilst Inter currently possess great quality.

“But the future is on his side and I know that Mazzarri values him highly and does not want to lose him.

“Certainly, Torino is a great club with a remarkable history, where perhaps he will find more space, but the final decision is obviously with Inter, who hold his registration.

“As you say in Italian ‘Non Io so’ [I don’t know] what’s going to happen.”
