Mauro Baldissoni admits Roma’s transfer activity for January is not over yet. “There could be players leaving and others coming in.”
The Giallorossi have already been very active by signing Radja Nainggolan and Michel Bastos, but more surprises are on the way.
“The transfer window closes on January 31, so we will continue to evaluate situations,” director general Baldissoni told Sky Sport Italia.
“If there are players leaving then there could be others coming in.”
Roma face Verona today and have been linked with their Argentine starlet Juan Manuel Iturbe.
“Iturbe is an excellent player who we are evaluating, as with others, but we are only looking at him for the future.”
A victory today at the Bentegodi would put the Giallorossi within six points of Serie A leaders Juventus.
“We must try to win every game if we want to stay in Juve’s slipstream. Roma have never done badly this season, but now we have rediscovered that optimal sharpness, thanks in part to the reinforcements.
“Of course we hope to get closer to the Bianconeri.”
