Cagliari defender Davide Astori’s agent confirms “Galatasaray and Roberto Mancini want him.”
The Turkish transfer window doesn’t close until Monday, so Italian clubs can still sell or loan their players abroad.
“Galatasaray want him and my impression is that Mancini really likes Astori,” representative Renzo Contratto told Radyospor.
“However, Cagliari do not intend to release him on loan, as they will only accept a permanent transfer.”
It has been said the Sardinians put a €15m price-tag on the centre-back.
Galatasaray have also been in negotiations with Inter for their defender Andrea Ranocchia.
