Manchester City talent Stevan Jovetic will be cheering on Fiorentina tonight against Juventus in Europe.
His former teammates take on the Bianconeri at 20.05 GMT in the first leg of a Europa League Round of 16 tie.
“I hope Fiorentina win,” Jovetic told Sky Sport Italia.
“I continue to follow Serie A and in particular Fiorentina, who are doing well and I hope they continue like this.
“Every game has its own story, so Sunday’s Serie A defeat in Turin has already been shelved. I expect two wonderful matches.”
Jovetic was sold to make way for Giuseppe Rossi, but his replacement has been ruled out since January with a serious knee injury after netting 14 Serie A goals.
“I trained a couple of times with him and he is very strong. It was a shame for his third knee injury, as I know what that feels like.
“If he hadn’t been forced off the field, he’d have scored 25 goals this season. I hope he can get on track soon.”
