Lazio are reported as ready to negotiate a deal with Udinese to try to take full ownership of Antonio Candreva.
The midfielder is seen as in increasing demand heading into the summer, with Manchester United and Juventus both among the clubs to have been linked in recent months with interest.
With that and his prominence in the Aquile side in mind, Lazio officials are reported as looking to reach agreement with Udinese to pick up the 27-year-old’s full registration.
The Biancocelesti picked up 50 per cent of Candreva’s contract last summer, at the end of a loan spell, paying €1.7m.
However, to take the remaining share, Udinese are reportedly asking for a cash payment of between €7m and €8m, without consideration for Lazio including any players in part-exchange.
A deadline on negotiations is seen as May 24, whilst Candreva is reportedly open to committing to the capital club.
