Hamsik: 'Napoli can catch Roma'

Marek Hamsik is confident Napoli can catch Roma in second place after beating Juventus. “Everything is possible.”

The Partenopei are still in third with 64 points behind Roma on 70, but the Giallorossi have a game in hand against Parma to be played on Wednesday at 17.30 UK time.

“Everything is possible,” Hamsik told his official website. “We will do everything that is in our power.

“There are still seven games to go and we’ll see what happens between Roma and Parma. It’s just a shame we dropped so many points against teams in the lower half of the table.”

Napoli earned a stunning 2-0 victory over Juve on Sunday evening, the first defeat the leaders have suffered in Serie A since October.

“It was a deserved win. We were the better team, especially in the first half. Should I be scoring more goals? The important thing is to achieve success as a team.”
